The origins of our guayusa

Ever wondered where guayusa comes from? The Guayusa we use for producing Nightwatch comes from the town Archidona in Ecuador which is about 3 hours from Quito by car. Archidona is a colonial town, founded in 1560, north of Tena, Ecuador in the Napo Province. Archidona serves as a business and social center for the small Quichua communities in the vicinity. The town is located in the north-central part of the Amazon Region of Ecuador, located on an extensive plain, on the outer flanks of the eastern mountain range of the Andes, on the left bank of the Misahuallí River, at an altitude of 577 meters above sea level and with a rainy climate Tropical of 24 ° C on average
